My Calling & Story

I was adopted at four days old by parents who taught me the power of family, service, and faith. My mother was a stay-at-home mom and PTA president, and from her I learned early that parents must have a voice in their children’s education. I attended public school until 10th grade, when I transferred to Ursuline after realizing classrooms were failing students.

My husband and I chose to homeschool our children, believing that was where God was leading our family. After my late husband passed, I worked and volunteered at my children's school to support their education. Those years gave me hands-on insight into the daily realities parents face.

In 2021, I started the first Moms for Liberty chapter in Texas. My advocacy led to a three-year study of over 800 school districts, exposing gaps in how student safety is handled. We helped shape legislation that has already improved the handling of misconduct in Texas schools.

God is calling me to serve at this moment to help ensure the new Office of Inspector General protects children and addresses real problems without growing unnecessary bureaucracy. My life has prepared me for this season to restore integrity and excellence in Texas education.
